Here are a few notes from some of our happy guests!

z

We just got back, and wanted to say thanks once again for everything.  We had so much fun
staying at your place.  We saw whales and dolphins, and went horseback riding in the mountains.
It was too short, but great. I hope it has warmed up in Alaska.

Thanks again,
David

Hi Karen,

I finally got a chance to sit down long enough to write you.  We all want to thank you for making Casa Crispin available to us during our stay in Loreto. The accommodations were perfect.

When we arrived Ismael had left for the day but the night watchman graciously offered to drive me to Ismael's house so that I could discuss the following days fishing arrangements with him.  As promised the skipper arrived promptly at 6:AM and we were off to make bait and chase Yellowtail around the point at Isla Carmen.  I'm glad we brought our own gear.  The lighter lines and smaller hooks proved to be the key as we were pretty much the only ones scoring the Tails with about a dozen boats around us.  All fish were in the 25 to 40 pound class.

The skipper, Jose Louis, got broke off while fighting a nice fish on one of our 20 pound rigs.  He shook his head, pick up one of the 40 pound trolling rigs to cast a fresh bait and simply said "mas bueno".  No more bites for Jose Louis.

The house was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking most of the meals there. I think we only ate one meal in town.  The view of the water and Isla Carmen from the front porch is worth a million.  We had a chance to meet some of neighbors who were very pleasant.  We also shared a plate of fresh Sushi with a group staying in the house next to us on the north side.

Again, thank you so very much for all your help in making our trip a great one.  The guys are already after me to plan another Loreto trip for Dorado season.  I hope we will have the opportunity to stay in Casa Crispin again in the near future.

Best,
Paul

Best holiday ever for all of us.  Beautiful spot.... Whales, kayaks round danzante and salt lake highlights for us. Perfect house for us all. Will be back for rest of baja. Many thanks

Rebecca

hi karen,

just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time in loreto. your home is really great and will be
fantastic after the remodel. let us know what your construction schedule is so we can recommend
your place to friends when it's not being worked on.

loreto is a great town. i hope they get more business to sustain the locals, but we really liked
how mellow it is.

thanks again for loaning the bikes. i used one of them and it was great for buzzing into town and
seeing more than i could walk during our short stay.

Hi Karen,

We've just arrived back home and wanted to let you know we enjoyed our stay in Loreto very much.
I tried to tidy up a bit before we left so I hope your housekeeper didn't find the home too messy.
Other than that, the house was just perfect for us. Ismal was polite and helpful and so were your
next door neighbors from Sacramento (I already forgot their names). Thanks for the rental.

Regards,

Kathy

fantastic trip. thanks again for your help. the whole family had a great time!

Hi Karen,

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time staying at your Beach house- that is really
a great place. Our kids had fun playing on the beach, and it was really nice to have a comfortable
house to just “hang out”. We followed many of your comments for where to eat, and where to buy stuff.
We loved Conchita’s store, and enjoyed eating at the Fish Taco Stand, La Palapa, etc. We saw lots of whales,
and want to come back a little earlier in the year (maybe February) because we hear there are many more
whales around then- that trip may have to wait another couple years. We also had fun staying at Bob’s house-
he was a very nice host. You know how to pick your vacation home locations, Kennicott and Loreto.

Once again, thanks so much for everything.

David

Karen,

Loreto rules! We loved it and we want to go back.
Our stay at your home was awesome! The best vacation I have ever had. We rented a jeep and went up to
the mission, hiked that creek up there, swam in the ocean, used neighbor's sea kayaks for free twice,
(I caught a ton of fish out of the kayak and gave them to the locals), we went out with Antonio and landed
8 yellowtail about 35 to 40 pounds each (brought back 80 pounds of fillets), used the mt' bikes and biked
all around town. I was swimming 12 miles out in the ocean after we caught our yellowtail. I dove, kayaked,
and swam a lot. Sandie and I had the best time with each other, a real honeymoon after we renewed our
wedding vows the Friday day before we left for Loreto. I want to go back for sure, maybe bring the whole
family next year. How are you for booking for next year?

That Loreto Bay is just weird though. An eco-town? Where are you supposed to park your boat? Your truck?
No thanks, not for me. That place is like a ghost town anyway, an empty golf course? No way.

I would like to buy a place down there really.
We made some great friends down there.

Wilbur

Hi Karen......Well, we made it home to Arizona today from Loreto.  Had a wonderful week and will definately
be going back!  The guys fished 4 days with Friday being the best fishing that my husband and his buddy
have ever experienced! Great, great day!  We also made the trip to the Javier Mission.....amazing along with
seeing whales, snorkeling etc.  Your home was so comfortable and made for an awesome week.   Thank you so
much for a wonderful experience.  We enjoyed it thoroughly.  It was a GREAT time.
Thanks for everything......
Jan
